The River Girl's Torment.
There is a girl in the River, a beautiful girl, she has long brown hair that curls like River weed. She has dark eyes, that glow with the colours of the River, she is sinuous as the eddy’s and currents that make the River live and Rob has been looking for her his whole life.
She is the girl in the River and he is the one that watches her. He wishes to find out about her, he wishes to know her, his River girl, he wants to understand her and perhaps even love her but the River Girl will try to tame him before the end.
(This is the new novel by Raymond walker, a work of romance but obsession and madness as Rob glimpses something new in the river that his house lies above; a girl. It could be simply his imagination or his loneliness causing him to see the girl but he thinks it is not. He thinks her real and sets out to find her, to know what she is, to know her. It is his goal, his need, his obsession and he searches for her for years and one day, he finds her)
“The River Girls Torment” is a work of true beauty, thoughtful, clever, quirky and full of earthy magic. I love This.
Rob Anderson, author of “Elizabeth”
An absolute Delight from Raymond Walker, clever, current and topical, never mind the beautiful romance, this has so much more to offer than boy meets girl.
Aldrich Kenney, author of “When East meets West” and “The leaves in Poland”

Moon Child and Other Tales.
A young girl, abandoned in the ancient Caledonian forest seeks refuge in the arms of a hill walker, or so it seems to the casual observer. A River Sprite seeks solace in the arms of a human, as her world is disappearing. A moon-child creeps from her Holt
beneath an ancient tree, scenting the night air, and is enveloped in the world of humans. The man who fell in love with death, who no longer wishes to live but cannot die tells his tale. Goats that debate in shady glens at night discuss revolution, Wolves that are men and men who are wolves wonder of their purpose in life. True love remains eternal in the worthiest of sad tales. These new Faerie and folk tales, of Scotland, from the pen of Raymond Walker, Author of “A River of Tears” and “The Secret Inside” embody the living soul of Scots folk and faerie tales.
Enchanting, beautiful, haunting and timeless. Never have I read of such beauty as i have here. The innocence reverberates in every tale. Beautiful. Robert Anderson, author of "Elizabeth"

The Miscast Fate By Raymond Walker
It was always Todd's fate to be ridiculed after all he had never amounted to much, a failed scientist who was thought to be a flake by his peers. All because he had some strange ideas and was not afraid to share them. Todd has fallen desperately in love with the equally smart and rather exotic Jasmine who lives a world away and would do anything to be with her even if it means changing the nature of science. This romantic drama from the pen of Raymond Walker, the acclaimed author of "The Secret Inside" and "Twisted Sisters" brings together a beautiful and fascinating love story intertwined With a fast moving science drama. Todd races to save the love of his life from her fate and he will see it done even if he has to change the universe to achieve it. After all how can you change what is written in the stars?
A River of Tears By Raymond Walker
This collection of Two short stories and four novellas are all based around a river i know from my youth. They tell of hope and loss, tragedy and abiding love, despair and contentment. Much as the river shapes the characters by its presence so does it enter their lives and change them, often in ways that they could never imagine. These are tales of magic and mystery, river sprites and Faerie Queens were-beasts, nymphs and dryads and they are tales of ordinary everyday people caught in situations, not only beyond their control but their understanding.
This volume contains the award winning novella, The River Sprite as well as the multi- award winning short story, Eternal Love.
"poignant" A River of Tears, deceptively simple while keeping love and hope alive. Julie Elizabeth Powell, author of Gone.
"Excellent book. I loved it." A wonderful and magical journey through the tribulations of love in our mortal realm, and of the human spirit's struggle against time and death. These tales open a window to the unknown where the heart's eternal search for a true immortal love seems possible. It is beautifully written , never gets bogged down in details. An entertaining as well as inspirational read. A light of hope, a way to our souls...a whisper of Eternity. Simply outstanding. I did love it. Mari Ponton.

Nut Brown Eyes By Raymond Walker
A magical, mystical tale of love and betrayal set against the grand backdrop of the Scottish Highlands. It is amazing what a perfectly ordinary walk in the woods can lead to in an ancient and sparsely populated land that teems with tales of witches and ghosts, sprites and goblins. Where you can still walk for days without seeing another living soul.
Rob sets out on his annual holiday to walk the unknown places of Scotland, to see the open sky and the forests, wildlife rivers and lochs of this ancient land.
A holiday he treasures is set out before him when all goes awry. Rob finds a young girl who is lost in the woods and attempts to save her, a decision that will change his life forever.
A strange and delightful mystery. Rob Anderson, Author of "Elizabeth"
A modern Fairy Tale. Beyond compare. Writers Digest.
Magical, mysterious and very sexy, highly recommended. Woman's Own.

Tales from this Northern Land By Raymond Walker
THIS NORTHERN LAND is ancient; steeped in history and tragedy. Rich with myth and superstition bathed in folklore and legend. Not for us was the rich civilisation of the Romans, Greeks or Mesopotamia, rather a dark and barbaric land where cultures flourished for short periods only to be trod under the foot of the next marauding invader and vanishing forever. These people left a legacy of cairns, standing stones, brochs and duns, castles and hill forts scattered across the land. As you walk this northern land, everywhere you see traces of folk that have long since vanished and you wonder how these people lived, what they thought, worshiped and feared. You wonder if their knowledge and thoughts are still in the land, in the mountains, forests and monuments. These stories though set in the modern world, reflect the dark past and history, the unknown places and wonders of this northern land at the point where reality dips into fantasy and becomes a soup of possible pasts and futures
Soon to come is another volume of Faerie Tales a couple of which I will add on this site for you to read even before the volume comes out which should be some time next year. I do not have a name for it yet but will let you know just as soon as I do.
